Creative Valley

A Monthly Talk Series for the Comox Valley

Join the Creative Valley community each month for an event of inspiration and connection with like-minded individuals. Our inclusive, free events welcome all backgrounds, whether you're in a creative field or not.

Start your day off with new insights, inspiration, and knowledge. We can't wait to have you be a part of our next event and look forward to learning and growing together.

We take inspiration from Creative Mornings, to provide a space for creative community. Our meetups start with a delicious cup of coffee or tea, light refreshments, followed by a thought-provoking guest speaker and discussion prompts that are designed to foster connections and to help you delve deeper into the topic of the day. A gathering crafted to inspire and build connections.

The Venue

Most events are hosted at the Comox Valley Art Gallery, an independent public gallery run by a non-profit society dedicated to presenting and fostering contemporary art by professional artists from the region, the country and beyond.

Through exhibitions, publications, creative residencies and education programs, CVAG links the Comox Valley to the broader world of contemporary art practice.

They actively engage the public, draw visitors, and enlivens the community through public events, performances, community collaborations, all-ages make art projects, youth training and mentorship programs, and a gift shop that sells the work of hundreds of local artists.

Creative Valley is honoured and privileged to be present on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the K’òmoks First Nation, who for millennia have passed on their culture, history, and traditions from one generation to the next on this site. We recognize the enduring presence of First Nations people on this land.
